Who am I?

My name is O'car Campos I'm Chilean and a Bioinformatics Engineer who graduated on 2011 from university after 5 years of education. I love nature and being in the wilderness, I love doing things that normal people wouldn't dare to do and I love spending my time on the road.

After a lot of thinking I decided I had to do this because now it's time to. Last year I thought about a stop in my normal Chilean life, first I thought about bicycling for 5 or 6 months without stop, then I thought about bicycling all the way to Ushuaia and back but then I was like, what the hell dude! let's visit all of south america!. Briefly I want to start in central Chile (Santiago) go south to the Austral Road till I reach Coyhaique, then I will cross Argentina till I reach Uruguay, from there Brazil is next, then the Guianas and Suriname, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Bolivia, Paraguay and back to Chile through Argentina. I estimate this will take me around 1 1/2 years maybe 2.

There are a lot of reasons why I want to do this and probably you would find most of them in my blog but I think the most important reason is that I feel I have to do this and I think the things I'll experience, learn and see will push me forwards to do more awesome things through my life.

The main intention of this blog is to keep track of what I'm doing before and during the trip, and maybe help other people who wants to do the same with information about places, experiences, or just for getting some motivation and pursuing what you want in life.

Also with the blog people who know will be able to check where I am, what I've been up to and how the road has been treating me.

Enjoy the reading and if you have suggestions, questions or others, don't hesitate in writting in the comments or send me a fast email: ocar.campos@attitude.cl. As long as I get internet I will reply.

Be safe.

Cheers.

O'car
